What’s the difference between Triple Diamond and Blue Diamond

It was an exciting journey to hit Triple Diamond! The Better Body System was launched October 2011 and in 6 months I achieved the Diamond Executive Rank. Then 2 months later, became Double Diamond and then Triple Diamond 2 months after. My Triple Diamond run is very instrumental in my preparation  to achieve the BLUE DIAMOND Rank.  During this period, I was able to hone my skills to be a better professional networker, to be a better leader and person. The difference between a Triple Diamond and a Blue Diamond is that when you reach the BLUE ZONE in leadership, it  means that more lives are being transformed and more followers and leaders being created in your organization. Not to mention also that  you get paid way better than a Triple Diamond! It is quite a challenge to reach the BLUE ZONE because it requires you to have 50K group volume in your PETL in 4 consecutive weeks. But hey, it is very doable for those who are willing to pay the price!

How does it feel to be able to retire your wife from nursing job?

Retiring from our full time job as Nurses in less than 1 year building the Yoli Business is an AWESOME Feeling! My wife Rose and I have been employees and working for somebody  since we graduated from College. We worked a 12 hour night shift and one of the worst challenges was driving back home after a stressful and long hours of work. In fact, we had multiple times of experience that we fell asleep at the wheel! Actually my wife Rose had a car accident and praise God she was okay. It is very fulfilling to experience, seeing your wife that she was able to take care of the kids and herself without worrying about time and money. It has been my dream for a long time for my wife to be a stay at home mom especially now that we have a baby coming soon! I love the profession of Network Marketing wherein an average person like me, an immigrant, never been successful in life, was able to achieve extraordinary things in a short period of time. From working 2 jobs as a nurse to a full time parent and entrepreneurs is AMAZING! Now, Literally I don’t have an alarm clock anymore and I wake up when I’m done sleeping! The lifestyle of having time and financial FREEDOM is second to none!

How is the new Chris medina different than the old Chris medina?

WOW this is a tough question! I can simply say that the new Chris Medina can speak better English now compared to the Old Chris Medina. Seriously, the present Chris Medina is a much better person, father, friend and a leader. In a short period of time, Yoli gave me a sense of purpose, significance and a better perspective in life. Yoli Truly transformed my life and my family’s life. With that, I will be forever grateful to all the Founders, to my entire team and to the whole Team Yoli Nation.

How important is it to get to TRANSFORM 2013?

TRANSFORM 2013 in September is the SUPERBOWL in my opinion. Leaders are born at events and this is so TRUE!  I’m the living example of that! I understand the impact and importance of attending events, and that’s why when I brought lots of people on my team last year to the Dream Conference and to Cancun this past March, these 2 events CATAPULTED me to hit the BLUE DIAMOND EXECUTIVE RANK!!! My advice to those who are still figuring out whether they should or shouldn’t attend the TRANSFORM 2013! is to Register now and bring as many members as you can and I promise you, you will have a high chance of exploding your business to the next level if you execute consistently what you learned.

When you started, did you ever envision yourself being so successful?

The answer would be YES. The reason is because, I know myself, if I focus and give it my all, I knew I could be successful in this business. I knew that I would also not be doing this business alone, I have great business partners in Corey Citron, Janice Stieglitz and now the Yoli Founders. I also knew that while we were prelaunching Yoli, I really felt that it was an equal playing field. That if I worked real hard, I could be a top earner too. The huge factor was Mentor support, Company support, ridiculous Compensation Plan, An amazing simple System (BBS) that duplicates, and Amazing Products that Transform Lives.

If you had to start all over again from scratch, what would you do?

Great question, When we first started, it was much harder because everything wasn’t set yet. Now, all you need to do is to follow the system. Honestly, it is much easier now since everything is in place. To start from scratch? Well simple, Parties, BBP’s to be exact. Have enough product to do your BBP’s (All I can say is DEP Charges RULE!, and Chris Medina has done so amazingly). Then force the calendar, set your parties and continue them until you find your 2 Key business builders (The Invite is what you need to be good at).

Then schedule their BBP’s and help them get their product for FREE and to 5 Star. 5 STAR is the Key. Then repeat the pattern (This is where you must recruit and go back to your list). RPA’s (Revenue Producing Activities) and creating a daily ritual is very important.

Then get your team members to a Transform U and every event Yoli or your Team Promotes. At the same time, Accountability is a MUST. You must have a 30, 60, 90 day calendar for rank advancements. Start with 4 weeks accountability for your first 30 days. Each week set or maintain your weekly advancements and hold each goal accountable. If you say you are going to do it, THEN DO IT.

What are the commonalities you see in successful business builders?

They all share the ability to help someone transform, both physically & financially. Whether helping others in their group or to do BBP’s, 3way calls, or anything to be a servant leader.

They all at some point became coachable and put whatever ego’s they had aside and worked THE SYSTEM. The Key Factor was to take themselves out of the picture and help train and duplicate the system. Because People aren’t duplicable, systems and tools are.

They also were accountable with their upline/sponsor for their progression, having to do weekly and monthly rank goals and helping their team do the same as well. Most of all, they all share the ability to help others and that to me is the most important one of all. I believe that once you create a Culture, everything else just falls into place. Here in Yoli, we have an amazing Culture, and that also has to be created in the organizations as well. Yoli Creates amazing Culture, we must create culture in our groups, our teams as well, and it all starts from You.

Anything else you’d like to add?

Duplication is very important, remember, wrong duplication will duplicate 100% of the time, right duplication will duplicate 30-40% at most, so please Duplicate the System right.

“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” I always refer to this quote. A little bit of tough love is what I believe in. At this time I would like to THANK my TEAM MATES for making this possible. It could have never been possible without the TEAM.

Please tell us a little bit about your background.

Angel – I’m from chicago and my lovely wife is from the U.K. – I have a High School Degree and less than a semester of community college experience – Tulane has a degree in Marketing and Performing Arts. We met one fateful evening at a local downtown dance studio in San Diego. I wanted to learn to dance to meet new people… Little did I know I met my soul mate. We started dating 3 months later and before I knew it she convinced me to drop out of Officer school ( I was enlisted in the Navy ) and pursue a career in dance. Little did I know at the time – It was the best decision I could have ever made!

A year later we founded San Diego’s 2nd Salsa Dance Company… In 2002 we opened our 1st Dance Studio with no money, no experience and a few years later we traveled the world performing, teaching and coaching… In 2007 we opened up studio #2 and founded / produced San Diego’s #1 Salsa Dance and Music event… In 2009 we had our 1st child – Isaiah Angel Rivera – Late 2009 we joined YOLI!!! – In December 2012 we opened studio #3 – In 2013 we had our 2nd Child – Amaiya Tulane Rivera – Wow… What a great ride its been!

What is it about Yoli that made you stay in the game so long despite your struggles?

The culture, leadership, and the genuine concern for our welfare shown from our sponsor Eugene Hong and Founder Corey Citron kept us in the game… When we joined Yoli in late 2009 we were at our prime and the economy was at a decline… We pushed to keep our businesses and dream alive despite all the obstacles. Through this all Corey and Eugene kept us pumped, engaged, and supported us directly and indirectly on a consistent basis. To say it in a nutshell… YOLI is family… Not to mention the products are freaking fantastic!!!

What changed that resulted in hitting Diamond so quickly after all this time?

Our Choice! We decided enough is enough… We made a choice to take the plunge and completely change our paradigm. It was a leap of faith that took courage, belief, and conviction – We didnt look back and despite the fear that was present our WHY was too big to stop us!

What role did self-development play?

Self development was the key component to making our CHOICE and Plunge a reality! Without it we truly don’t believe our mindset would have made it possible to make Diamond. We developed as individuals which in turn became very contagious and infectious! Our team felt the shift which in turn produced confidence, motivation and inspiration from those close to us! This combined with our CHOICE catapulted us to success… Its such an exciting time – We’re not done yet and really not done until our team becomes just as successful!

How important is it to get to TRANSFORM 2013?

Events produce LEADERS! Everyone must be there! We went to our last 2 conferences with no money and if we didn’t make the sacrifice to be there we wouldn’t be where we’re at today! It’s a sacrifice but more importantly this is your business! You have to treat it like a business to get business results… Do what you have to do to make it! Last but not least – Events also create CULTURE – The most important piece to a successful business!

Anything else you’d like to add?

Never quit – Stay plugged In – Keep your WHY in the forefront of your mind and keep your DREAM Alive! Develop you from within so your light can shine and transfer to your team members and customers!
