Natural, organic items grab bigger share in supermarkets

Clearly one of the things that is attracting more and more people to us here at Yoli is our mission – WE TRANSFORM LINES.
The fact that we do this with all natural ingredients with all of the good, and none of the bad, is another layer that not only attracts everyday people from teachers to doctors alike, but keeps them over time.
And although a large part of the market is still uneducated, they will be someday, and soon.
Reminds us of one of Wayne Gretsky’s most famous quotes:
“A good hockey player plays where the puck is. A great hockey player plays where the puck is going to be.”
The bottom line is that if you’re not offering products that are natural, your customers will find someone who does. Furthermore, consumers are as concerned about what’s not in their products these days, as what is.
Fortunately with Yoli, we’re not only already there, but well ahead of the vast majority of others in the market, especially in the direct selling space.
Now, as you’ll see in the article below, natural, organic items are even grabbing a bigger share in conventional supermarkets, not just the Whole Foods of the world.
Nationwide, natural and organic food sales grew 8 percent in 2010 versus the less than 1 percent growth in the $630 billion total U.S. food market, according to the Nutrition Business Journal. It grew at about a 5 percent rate each year from 2005 to 2009.
According to Nutraceuticals World Magazine (September 2011 Issue, Page 42) here are the 9 things consumers sought out most when making a purchase:
#1 – Natural
#2 – Having no artificial sweeteners
#3 – Preservative Free
#4 – All-Natural
#5 – Hormone Free
#6 – Organic
#7 – Unprocessed
#8 – Certified Organic
#9 – Antibiotic Free
